Personal Finance Blog Posts I Enjoyed This Week
3 CommentsHere are some posts from other personal finance blogs that I enjoyed this week:
Moolanomy presented a very detailed article on asset allocation. When it comes to a balanced portfolio, this article makes many great points.
Hannah guest blogs at Make Love Not Debt, and reminds us all why it’s so important to shop around before making big purchases.
Retire2India presented a list of retirement milestones beginning at age 50. Very helpful for people beginning to think about retirement and wondering what’s ahead.
MoneyNing reminds anyone renting why renters insurance is a great idea. Having just last weekend saw news reports showing a local apartment building with the roof lifted off during a tornado, you can never give this advice enough.
Blogging Away Debt made some homemade bread this week and looked at the cost savings between slices. Yum!
Blunt Money is tired of all the doom and gloom. I agree that it’s important to see what’s going on, but I couldn’t agree more that it’s sometimes best to silence the naysayers, if only for personal peace of mind.
The Digerati Life sold a car on Craigslist and outlined the experience in great detail. Excellent advice since it seems like classified ads are quickly being replaced by Craigslist, eBay and the like.
Finally, Blueprint For Financial Prosperity takes us to the lighter side of things by pointing out some money lessons learned from the TV show Entourage. I enjoy this show, but I will be waiting until DVD for this season as I canceled my HBO subscription recently to save money.
