Personal Finance Posts I Enjoyed This Week (10/11/08)
Here are some personal finance blog posts I really enjoyed this past week:
- No Credit Needed discusses allocating a savings account into various ‘buckets’. This is something I do as well, so I really enjoyed this post.
- The DIgerati Life weighs the pros and cons of the green food saver bags. You’ve seen the ads on TV!
- 2 Million blog is licking his wounds but feeling optimistic for the future.
- Uncommon Cents points out that the Internet can be used to find almost anything, including how to handle most home repairs yourself. I admit, I’ve looked up a few repairs online. Sometimes, I do them. Sometimes, it convinces me to hire a pro!
- Gather Little By Little came across a way to save water: The Shower Manager. You have to see for yourself!
- Finding Financial Peace is going to slow down on the debt payments for awhile. Not to worry, though, as she’s planning on holding the cash to bolster the emergency fund during the economic turmoil. As long she’s disciplined enough with this, I can understand choosing this path given her current financial situation.
- My Money Blog discusses the current market conditions from a personal perspective. I enjoyed this read as I think it offers some good perspectives these days when the TV and Internet doesn’t make that so easy.
