There are so many times where I’ll be in the middle of doing something, and I’ll think of something I need or want. Sounds, perfect, right?
Well, not always. Because half the time, I end up forgetting about it.
Then, when I’m in the store that would carry the item, I forget completely about what I thought I might want. Or, more frustrating yet is when I thought of the item I wanted in the context of a possible gift idea, and then when I get asked what I want for, say, Father’s Day, my answer is something along the lines of:
“Ummm…well….I….uh….uhmmmmm….let me get back to you.”
I need a better way to organize myself. I need to write things down.
Do I carry a pad and paper? In the age of electronics, do I perhaps go electronic with a device that can easily capture my thoughts? I wrote last week about how new cell phones will most be in our not-to-distant future, maybe there’s an opportunity here.
Short of tying a string around your finger, I’d be curious to know what methods people use to keep track of those random thoughts that pop in, but can pop out just as fast, so that they don’t get lost.

I have an iphone and i use the voice recorder to leave myself a message anytime I think of something random….so much easier for me than writing notes on scraps of paper (what I used to do)
