A few weeks at a nearby shopping center, back on a bitter cold day (haven’t there been a lot more of those this year), we saw a group of girls (and a couple of adults) huddled in front of a table. They were, of course, selling Girl Scout cookies.
We hadn’t gotten any yet this year so we decided to purchase a couple of boxes.
I found this a very interesting news article that chronicles some of the highlights of Girl Scout Cookies over the years, and how they’ve grown to an integral part of our culture.
My favorites are Thin Mints. What are your favorites? Drop a comment and let us know.
Have a great weekend!

All Girl Scout cookies (to me) taste better frozen! My favorites are Tagalong and Thin Mints. My daughter as a Girl Scout sold them every year. Of course, we bought our share! She learned so much from scouting and achieved the Gold Award (Eagle Scout equivalent). The leadership experience contributes to her success in her career.
Thin Mints and Do Si Does!! Yum.
Definitely tagalongs–the ONLY Girl Scout cookie I buy.
Thin Mints are my favorite, and one of the best creations in life! lol
Samoas have always been my favorite. They're really tasty, though not exactly what I'd call health food. Anyway, my daughter has sold Girl Scout cookies, so I have bought a variety. Just be careful not to eat too many.
Samoas..hands down with thin mints trailing second.
