Happy Friday. If it seems like January is one of the longest months of the year, take heart in that it’s now two-thirds the way through. Also, as depressing as January can be (because let’s face it, the colder weather just isn’t as fun without all the holiday lights and decorations), it’s worth noting that the time we get daylight has been increasing for a month now.
Anyways, here are some great blog articles I came across over the last few days. Give them a read:
- Blogging Away Debt got some money as gift with specific instructions, and is having a hard time spending it accordingly. I’ve actually faced a similar situation, but the good thing is, cash will wait as long as you wait to spend it.
- No Debt Plan suggests you avoid recycling your old cell phone when you get a new one. See what he suggests you do instead.
- Cash Money Life has a few great tips if you’re interested in selling items on Craigslist. My advice (as you can see in the comment I left) is to be careful.
- Weakonomics wonders if premiums would go down if insurance companies stopped advertising as much. This is a good question that probably applies to most of the stuff we see ads for, but since they keep making ads and spending money on them, they must be working.
Hopefully you enjoy the great posts as much as I did and hopefully you have agreat weekend!
