Joanna Johnson

Car Insurance Expert

Joanna Johnson started as a manager at a major national auto insurance carrier. She used this position to gain several insights into how the car insurance industry worked in the different states. She’s an expert and understanding how the different laws and regulations in the car insurance industry shape the way that policies work.

Joanna’s experience makes her one of our go-to writers when we need to explain why auto insurance works the way it does. She’s also an expert at understanding what the different levels of insurance coverage offer and helping people understand what level of coverage is best for them. That way they can pay for the right amount of insurance and don’t have to worry about overpaying for insurance that they’ll never need or use.

In her free time Joanna loves going on long hikes and playing video games with her friends. She also spends time volunteering at an animal rescue shelter.
