I Hope Everybody’s Having A Great Summer

Hi everybody.  I just wanted to drop a line because I realize that I’ve pretty much fallen off the face of the earth at least as far as Money Beagle is concerned.  It’s a little bit because we’re having a great summer!

Our Normal Summers And What Makes This One Great

Typically, summers are busy as we do most of our traveling during that time, but in the past, I’ve been diligent about writing articles in advance that I could publish even while we were gone.

This year, not so much.

I’ve been working on a new post about some big changes we made to our cell phone carriers.  It might some attention (hint: it doesn’t involve spending less money) but I’ll leave it at that for now.

But I hope that everybody is enjoying the summer.  It’s been a pretty hot July in Michigan, but that’s OK with me as I would much rather have it hot than cool.  I wish it would rain a little more as the grass and such is pretty brown these days, but oh well.

I hope that you’re having enjoyable weather and enjoying the summer as well.

Be back next week, I promise!

  1. Happy summer!! Hotter than a $2 cookstove here.

SDXB escaped the family reunion in the UP: traveling to Milwaukee (?), renting a car, and driving to the boondocks where he grew up was more than he could cope with. His sister is in your state now, though. She got stuck in some sort of computer glitch in some midwestern burg (what? Indianapolis, I think??…), ended up renting a car there, driving 500 miles to Milwaukee, stopping there to get rid of the first rental and pick up the car she’d reserved, and driving onward to Marquette. Doesn’t that sound like fun?

  2. I’m also enjoying summer this year. Lots of mini trips (no camping, but getting outside). I have about three more weeks before I go back to school – always bitter-sweet. I’m excited for the new school year, but sad that summer is over in the middle of August for me! Enjoy the rest of your summer and looking forward to the post about your cell phone plan.
